The role of dietary supplements in the life of the body

The pace of modern, rapidly flowing life, when a person is like a “squirrel in a wheel”, requires large energy costs. Parallel to the pace of life, there is a food deficit that is not associated with hunger. When we eat, but malnourished in terms of quality.

The true meaning of the expression "Health is the most precious thing" reaches the consciousness of most people when diseases begin to torment them seriously, and are forced to run around various medical institutions. In order not to bring our body to a deficient state, it is necessary to take care of the balance of the micronutrient composition of the food consumed. Sufficient intake of micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) is required for all processes of metabolism, development and growth, and for good health throughout life. For this, dietary supplements were developed.

Bioactive additives (BAA) - concentrates of natural natural substances isolated from food raw materials of animal (including marine), mineral, vegetable origin, or substances obtained by chemical synthesis, identical to natural analogues. Their use allows you to consistently restore the body without causing damage to it, without the destructive side effects inherent in many drugs. Additives are produced in the form of extracts, balms, creams, tablets, capsules, liquid and dry concentrates.

Bioactive supplements are divided into two groups: Parapharmaceuticals and Nutraceuticals .

Parapharmaceuticals – are used for prevention and adjuvant therapy with certain pharmacological activity. They support the functional activity of organs and systems. These are bioflavonoids, alkaloids, glycosides, saponins, organic acids, essential oils, polysaccharides. Pharmaceutical technologies are already used in the production of such substances.

Nutraceuticals - substances that are necessary for the body, which are its main components: vitamins or their precursors, macro- and microelements, polyunsaturated fatty acids, essential amino acids, mono- and disaccharides, dietary fiber used to correct the chemical composition of food. Nutraceuticals are manufactured using food technology, not pharmaceutical technology.

It must be remembered that dietary supplements are not medicines! It is a dietary supplement that improves the condition of the body both inside and out.

Thus, taking dietary supplements is the easiest way to get what you need to ensure health of the body, the amount of vitamins, micro- and macroelements, essential micronutrients and other biologically active substances.

The use of dietary supplements in daily practice allows a person to use the natural potential of adaptation, protection and self-healing of the body . This is a direct way to reduce morbidity, improve health and prolong human life. Dietary supplements as food supplements are undoubtedly needed, they help to compensate for the lack of nutrients and micronutrients in the body, and proper, balanced nutrition is the key to health.
